How to read this

Where a crop can be done two ways in the same month, the earlier job wins the colour, so a month shaded for sowing indoors may also be a month you could sow outdoors. The individual crop guides break each month down properly.

Dates assume an average Irish season. The south and east coast run roughly two weeks ahead of the midlands, and the north west runs about two weeks behind. Adjust accordingly, and always let the weather rather than the calendar have the final say on planting out.
